• Clients need to make & book acrylic/gel refill appointments to maintain the nail enhancements and to avoid damage to the client’s natural nails.
  • Every two weeks is recommended for refills or maintenance. Please see the price list for costs.
  • Nail enhancements should never be self-removed by the client, as this can damage the natural nails. Fabulous Beauty offers professional and safe removal of nail extensions and polishes at a cost.


  • Clients should expect nail extensions to wear off gradually with time. Extensive exposure to water or cleaning chemicals increases the likelihood of the lifting of nail extensions. Thus we recommend nail enhancements or refills every two weeks.
  • The long wear of nail polish also depends on wear & tear; clients should expect it to chip or peel. Regular polishes MAY last up to 3 days, and whilst Gel Polishes should last up to 2 weeks. However, this is also dependent on the client. Fabulous Beauty uses professionally certified products to prolong the life of polishes, but chipping or peeling may still occur. Clients should expect to remove and re-apply nail polish upon chipping or peeling.


Our terms and conditions are composed of treatment recommendations and expectations (above) as well as important information below:

  • We reserve the right to request a deposit to secure an appointment. Any changes to the appointment must be made in accordance with the cancellation policy. Please be advised that deposits are non-refundable but can be used towards rescheduling if you notify Fabulous Beauty at least 12 hours’ notice for nail and lash appointments is requested. 24 hours’ notice is required for all services at Fabulous Beauty. You must rearrange your appointment within 24 hours after cancelling for another date/time to keep your deposit. If no notice has been given within a specified time 50% charge will be applied. Appointments missed without notice will be charged at full price.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your treatment. Late arrival will result in a shortened treatment time. However, treatments will still be charged at full price.
  • Fabulous Beauty reserves the right to decline any treatment if we deem it to be inappropriate or have the potential to cause harm.
  • Repairs are at our discretion. Generally, defects caused within five days for shellac and seven days for powder extensions are repaired free of charge. However, defects thought to be caused by the client will not be repaired for free. All sales are final, and no refunds are to be made.
  • By paying for the service(s), clients accept the services are perfectly done and have no defects made by our nail technicians.
  • We do not permit children to be brought to the salon and cannot accept responsibility for any children while adults are receiving treatment. It is not acceptable for staff members to child-mind while parents are receiving treatment, nor clients to child-mind while receiving treatments.
  • A parent/guardian at our salon should accompany children under 16. Otherwise, we reserve the right to refuse children under the age of 16.­­
  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • Fabulous Beauty gift cards can be exchanged for services, in Fabulous Nails & Beauty Salon (Reading), with a card reading terminal that is operational at the time of use.
  • The balance on the Gift Card may be used for full or partial payment of the New Zealand Dollars cost of Fabulous Beauty services. To check your balance, please call us on 06 356 4879.
  • No change will be given, but any unused balance will remain on the Gift Card and may be applied to future purchases.
  • The Gift Card cannot be exchanged or redeemed in whole or part for cash and has an expiry date of 6 months since purchased.
  • Promotional offers may not apply to Gift Card purchases.
  • Keep the Gift Card safe and treat it as cash. We will not accept any liability for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards or any remaining balance on the Gift Card.
  • We may withdraw or cancel the Gift Card and require an alternative form of payment if we suspect that the Gift Card may have been stolen or fraudulently used. Further action may also be taken.
  • We reserve the right to amend or supplement these conditions or discontinue the Gift Card at any time.


  • Your transaction will be processed through our payment provider, Stripe. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your tip donation, you authorise Stripe to request funds from your credit or debit card.
  • If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider.
  • When you submit your payment details, these details will be transferred to our payment provider; and your payment details will be collected and processed securely by them. You should ensure that you are aware of Stripe’s privacy and terms, which are different from our own, to ensure that you are comfortable with how they will process your personal data before you make a tip donation. We do not share your personal details with any other third party other than as set out in our Privacy Policy.
  • If you believe that you had made an error in your tip donation, please contact us either by contact form or by phone at 06 356 4879 within 14 days, and a partial/full refund will be made to you.
  • We reserve the right to amend these Gratuity Terms and Conditions at any time.


Products must be returned unused, unopened, with their seal intact and in the same condition as those originally purchased from Fabulous Beauty. We will not accept for exchange or refund any item which has been used or is not in the exact condition in which it was purchased from us. This does not affect your statutory rights.


All courses must be paid for in full at the time of booking and completed within 6/12 months, depending on treatment specifications outlined in the Purchase Agreement, and are non-refundable. Missed appointments with no notice will result in treatments deducted from your course.


Personal details taken from clients during consultation procedures will be kept safe and in the strictest confidence. We occasionally send you details of open hours and special promotions. If you would rather not receive these, please let us know.
